Understand how a site is built and how it performs on-page: identify the technology stack and WordPress plugins, audit SEO signals, check the SSL certificate, measure keyword density, spot ad networks, and compare two sites side by side.

Analysis tools

Which Analysis tool should you use?

Technology Detector answers 'what is this built with', SEO Analyzer answers 'is this page set up to rank', and Keyword Density answers 'what is this page actually about'. Run them in that order on an unfamiliar site: the stack explains why certain problems exist, the SEO audit finds them, and the density check tells you whether the content matches the intent. SSL Checker and Ad Network Detector are narrow, single-question tools — reach for them when you have that specific question.

Analysis tools — common questions

Can technology detection be wrong?
It can be incomplete. Detection reads public signals — headers, scripts, markup patterns — so anything loaded server-side or proxied through a first-party domain stays invisible. What it reports is reliable; what it omits is not proof of absence.
Why do two similar pages get different SEO scores?
Because the score reflects the checks that failed, not overall quality. A page missing a canonical tag loses points a longer, weaker page might keep.
What keyword density should I aim for?
There is no target. Between roughly 0.5% and 2.5% is where well-written pages naturally land; above 5% reads as stuffing. Write for the reader and use the number to catch accidents, not to hit a figure.
